Compensation & Benefits at AFBIS
At AFBIS, we believe in rewarding our employees with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, financial security, and overall well-being.
Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance
AFBIS, Inc. provides robust health and prescription coverage for employees and their families.
Employees can choose between two Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans:

A $1,000 deductible plan, or
-
A $2,000 deductible HSA-eligible plan.
AFBIS covers most of the cost for individual plans and a significant portion for family coverage.
We also offer dental insurance through Delta Dental PPO and vision coverage through VSP.
Retirement Benefits
Plan for your future with confidence. AFBIS offers both a company-funded Cash Balance Retirement Plan and a 401(k) plan through Fidelity.
We match employee 401(k) contributions dollar for dollar up to $3,500 per year, and all matching funds are immediately vested.
Continuing Education
We invest in your growth. AFBIS covers 100% of approved seminar, class, and certification/designation program fees.
For degree programs, employees are eligible for reimbursement of up to $600 per credit hour, provided upon completion of the program.
Flexible Spending & Health Savings Accounts
Take advantage of pre-tax flexible spending accounts (FSAs) for health care, dependent care, parking, and public transportation.
Employees enrolled in the $2,000 deductible health plan are also eligible for a Health Savings Account (HSA), which includes an annual employer contribution.

Summer Schedule: During summer months, employees can adjust their hours to take every other Friday off.
Sick Leave & Disability Benefits
New employees receive 15 days of Qualified Sick Leave upon hire. After that, sick leave accrues at one day per full calendar month.

Short-Term Disability: 100% salary continuation.

Long-Term Disability: 60% of salary coverage provided by AFBIS.
